MUSIC Second Life Musician 11.15.07, 5:51 AM SLT SECOND LIFE—Hep Shepherd, a musician in the virtual world of Second Life (R), is now set to make it big in real-life. His upcoming single, 'Last Goodbye', is being produced by Duncan Sheik and will be out at the end of November. Hep Shepherd (real name: Jeff Krantz) left a high-paying marketing job almost a year ago to pursue music full time in Second Life. He explored the usual outlets for independent artists (MySpace, etc.) but felt they were lacking something. It was Second Life that allowed him perform and network at the same time and after 150 performances inworld, Hep now has a fan base of several thousand and his own promotion and management team. He’s now performing real life shows in New York City, and has an album scheduled for release next month.  Hep Shepherd performing at Elysian Isle in Second Life (124, 208, 25)
