From our readers...

Pollywog -

First, I think I wrote to you a while back, when I first read the 7th Sun piece, expressing my appreciation for the article. If not, it's just one of those oversights. I have since shared it widely. Several respondents have commented on the quality of the writing. It is rare to read something that is intelligent, perceptive, and stylish. When Dorothy finally figured out how to access the 7th Sun web site she called to give me her critique. Her note to you is a shadow of the comments she made to me. She was "moved". This is no small feat. As the subject of the piece, and a writer, she read it with knives drawn, looking for any flaw or misstep to denounce. We are both severe readers. She was really gratified, and got right back to work on the next phase of the project, a new volume of poems for the next incarnation of In The Sweet Bye & Bye.

Second, I am in S.D. 4-9 Aug. I am an exhibiting artist in the Art Gallery at SIGGRAPH. I am also Resident Artist in the Guerilla Studio. So I'll be in town, and at the conference site, for that week. My gallery talk is 8 Aug, 10-11a.m., and it is of course all about In The Sweet Bye & Bye, and my collaboration(s) with Dorothy. I hope we can connect during that week.

Keep on. Be well
