Klingons opt for Vulcan peace after scrape with Romulans Message from QatanI Damdin
by QatamI Damdin, correspondent
May you live long and prosper. I am sure you never thought you would hear these words from Captain QatanI’ sutai-DevnoH, the Elint Commander of the Klingon Assault Group (KAG). (www.kag.org) As the new Klingon Ambassador to Second Life, I raise a Vulcan salute in the manner of my cousin Spock. You see, like Spock, I am half-Vulcan.
In my last communication to you, I told of our initial plans to invade and conquer the world of Second Life for the Klingon Empire—but plans change. The Thought Admiral, in her wisdom and great leadership experience, chose me, because of my particular heritage, to be the Ambassador to this world from ours. You must understand that my mother is not Klingon—she is Vulcan. I was raised on her world until I escaped as a young teen to travel to the Klingon home world where I learned the Klingon ways. I have commanded many ships and many missions and have always been victorious. I rose through the KAG Navy ranks quickly. I then led the invasion of Second Life (see my last transmission). Now, I shall continue this saga.
We have a new Great Hall. The first Great Hall was attacked and destroyed, we suspect, by Romulans. We don’t know for sure. But we were fortunate to have such a great Master Builder among us as Ganta to replace it in only two days! The new Hall is stronger and better and well defended by a small fleet of ships. Rumor has it a few hundred dead Romulans have been found all around Second Life since but it is just a rumor.
Klingons of any and all groups now have a home to meet and party. To find the Great Hall, simply search on ‘Klingon’ in Second Life. Many have IM’d me to say the Hall is often empty. That is because it is a place for us to meet and not a general happening spot for non-Klingon petaQ. However, it is open to the public all times of day and night. As such, everyone is invited to come enjoy the Hall anytime. It consists of the main Hall and Rite of Ascension Chamber on the first floor and the Klingon Klub on the second floor (with a hidden play room). I may be half-Vulcan, but be forewarned: the land is Kill enabled. We are, after all, warriors. Griefers in particular should beware.
Above the Great Hall is a fleet of ships to view, some Birds of Prey, a D7 Destroyer, and soon to be added, a Vor’cha class battleship. We of the Empire would like to credit the builder of our ships and the new Great Hall: Ganta Ozsvar, who is a cyborg (not BORG) and my Second Life (SL) wife. We are expecting our first SL baby March 19, 2008, a son named Ganani. Qapla’!
More Klingons are coming to SL all the time. Other SL residents are becoming Klingon. What about you? Do you have what it takes to be a Klingon warrior? Come see the Great hall in Moran and click the vote box and the green or red globe above it to page me to see what you are in for.
