Avatar assaults shopper in mall BARCOLA — A shopper was assaulted by an avatar in wolf’s clothing who had been loitering about the handbag section of a womens’ clothing store. According to witnesses at the scene, he targeted one woman in particular by positioning himself in front of any merchandise that she tried to examine. He then jumped on her and sexually assaulted her in the aisle. 
The assailant was identified by screen capture as Krankheit Spaatz, moderator for the role playing group, City of Lost Angels and founder of The Desh’miriai, a pack of Lycans associated with the CoLA role-playing sim. Spaatz is described on his character sheet for the City of Lost Angels as a Level 7 Lycan (Shaman) and “viciously fluffy.” According to their website, the City of Lost Angels is “a city themed Dark RP/Combat/Sex community” with “vampires, werewolves, predators, crazies, homeless people, druggies, whores and gangsters, schoolgirls, street people...” where “all are welcome.” Role play in Lost Angel’s is described as “casual and consensual” and members are admonished to “respect the RP of others and join in!
